Assume Froome is allowed to compete at the tour. Does he have any chance at all given recent failed giro/tour double attempts?

Edit. Put another way if he takes to the start line will he be favourite?

To begin with, probably not I'd say, however we have seen from previous tours (and the giro!), that he is very good at riding himself into form over a couple of weeks.

No. You can't ride yourself into form on a three week Grand Tour
