Sounds a bit grim. I was never going to make it last night after two weeks on the bike (LEJOG) and very little running, but while I was jogging an "easy" 5 miles around the park and heath instead, I reminded myself that I often struggle breathing round Battersea Park at this time of year, so this might be significant. I've also suffered occasional nose bleeds but never whilst running (or connected with hay fever as far as I can tell), so not sure about that side of things.

Has anyone else had this when running? It was pretty humid and the pollen count is supposed to be high but not sure what would have caused it.
I used to get nosebleeds all the time - exacerbated by pollen, heat and exertion.
I had the blood vessels in my nose burnt out, and it's no longer a problem.
Headed to Battersea Park for the Assembly League last night. There were a lot of runners; the start was a bit of a mess. Then I ended up dropping out about 2.4km in as I was struggling to breathe - a couple of seconds after stopping my nose started pouring with blood, which wasn't ideal.
