I never really saw his TV stuff but his cookbooks are some of my most used in my shelf. His Les Halles cookbook should be on everyone's shelf. RIP.

Bourdain was one of America's greatest ambassadors. It's sad that he left at a time when he was so badly needed.

It's cast a dark cloud over my weekend... Strange how media and the arts can stoke up such powerful emotions about people we've never met but we still feel we know...

Not gonna be able to watch any of his shows for a while, tbh I'm a bit bemused by my reaction to his death...

when I read about it yesterday I felt very sad.
like you say I've never met have no contact with him but through his writing and shows you feel affection for a person.

Strange how media can stoke up such powerful emotions about people we've never met but we still feel we know...
