He’s consistently said he doesn’t want to ride for GC yet. He’s young, give him time to develop, it’s obvious the talent is there so support him in making the most of it.

Bardet's comments were massively taken out of context and sensationalised, they formed part of what was a longer/far more qualified, conditional statement but obvs. that doesn't stir up clicks quite so well!
