Ah, so I have fallen foul of Poe's law. I now unsarcastically love it and if I had the skills, time money and inclination (I score 1 out of 4) it's the sort of pisstake bike I'd build

Erkkila is an absurdist. You can't judge that bike by normal anti-porn standards, because it is a deliberate piss-take of all the people who put risers on lo-pros in an unironic way.
