Put me in a room with a pig and tell me to kill it or I starve and I'll have a good bash at snapping it's neck.

And if there was also a supply of veggie burgers in that room? Still have a good bash? I wouldn't. I'd probably share my veggie burgers with the dude.

So if the choice is veggie burgers or slaughter a pig in a grossly inhumane manner, obviously veggie burgers.

Picking them off the shelf in the supermarket...

Probably veggie burgers too as my wife is veggie and I eat veggie for 90%+ of my meals.
