Aye. Unfunny person fails here, heads to the U.S. to complain about how snobby the Brits are, makes the most plastic and boring comedy shows ever from which the only laugh to emerge was the Simpsons. Arrives back here to show precisely what we weren't missing.

I knew her when we both lived in Burnham as 16 year olds. The only thing I remember about her was discussing shagging on a moped pillion seat. I don't remember it being an offer more a comment on comfort.

Had come to post the same!

This guy doing the case for veganism no favours
https://www.facebook.com/garytvcom/videos/1690268221028419/
Because vegans never use knives and forks
-
• #23993
I suppose you use a garden fork to harvest potatoes, but that's not really what he's saying. Seems a pretty measured argument.
-
• #23994
I respect Vegans for making a choice. Arguing that nobody should eat animals because it's biologically wrong is both demonstrably false and makes him sound like those christians who say if God had intended us to fly he would have given us wings
-
• #23995
Not really though, is it? More a reply to the usual "If we weren't supposed to eat meat, why do we have canines?" And its not like meat products aren't pushed at people from birth and advertised at them until old age. Telling people your reasons and giving them another option is hardly evangelism. He's not that bad, covering people in blood etc. and you've got a point
-
• #23996
He undermines his argument with the hands-only pig mauling gimmick.
I'd be more convinced if he said: "Biologically we are able to make tools, to kill animals and to digest them. Fine. But we can just as easily use these these tools to avoid this killing, feed more people overall using plants, stop fuelling a climate disaster, and still enjoy ourselves in the process."
-
• #23997
It's taken a bit far, but you can guarantee it's because he's been told a million times that humans are definitely supposed to eat meat and evolved to do so and is a counter point to that. I'm not saying he's some infallible super vegan spokesperson, but epic fail he is not.

The 'out of sight out of mind' point applies to many other things .
-
• #23999
We have evolved to use tools instead of teeth and collaboratively built tools at that. The argument is stupid at best.
Pwilliam and Pharry works.
