Audax rides

The bit to Campbeltown didn't take us too long compared to some, but my legs were toast after it, I looked at the profile on Google maps and it's like shark teeth, the annoying thing was as it was twisty and single track.

Yes, when I did it I'd just got my legs back after having a nap (on the benches in the harbour at Tarbet in early morning sun) and really attacked it and enjoyed it. Was shot again when I got to Campbelltown, though!

Apparently it is the 'long and winding road' of the Beatles song. Linda Macartney had a place at the far end and Paul had to drive it loads of times, or something like that
