But they've been saying things like "alignment with the single market" for a while, while also saying they want"no freedom of movement". And that's a deal not on the table.

So I don't know what this means in practice...if it's waffle or a genuine commitment :)

It’s a amendment to the EU Withdrawal bill that commits Labour to single market membership - the EU refer to what we call the single market as the internal market. This is a significant change in position.
