• I bought this for myself, but I am an idiot who absolutely doesn't need a dedicated road bike.
    When it arrive it had a stuck BB, seatpost, stem and headset all of which I got removed by my LBS before decided to shelve this project.
    I would suggest that this was made no earlier than '99, being a RSP product it'll have been made in Nottingham, its TiG'd Reynolds 631.
    As you can see (photos below) there is a small amount of surface rust under the TT but I'm not remotely worried about it, it isn't structural. If were you I'd follow though on my plan of getting it shot blasted and powder coated.
    Apart from that, all the threads are fine, the frame is true and has no dings. I have a spare cockpit that would go nicely with this if you're inerested, a black ITM stem and some black compact Bont 'Spotter' bars.
