    Unfortunately sliding doors won't work...

    Maybe I didn't explain it clearly enough but here are some pictures.

    Essentially, the left hand side of the cupboard (built poorly by the previous owner) will be replaced with a basic stud wall in the new renovation.

    I'm planning to have two pivoting slide doors (approx 1350x700), one for the washing machine and one for the upper part of the cupboard. They'd swing into the left hand side of the cupboard which would give full access and not impede the door opening. The depth of the cupboard is 650mm so the door would stick out by 50mm, leaving enough room for a little handle to pull it back out again.
