After an initial attempt that was a bit scrappy, I made a second band which turned out ok. Natural tan cow leather, with a pig leather inner layer (softer, but doesn’t take on that lovely colour like cow). Fairly happy with results - feels really comfy and seems sturdy enough. The wallet is with the same leather but a couple of years old - and what I hope the band will look like after a year or so.
