I'm more of a 46-30 specialist. Dolan had them both on their website and on Ebay, but that combo is sold out apparently. Alex's Cycle in Japan should have it though, and they ship to the UK.
Also, do you really need a 172.5? #internetbikefit -

You might be better off buying a 44-30 from Dolan and changing the outer ring then. The FSA ones are basically OEM only, and I don't think you'll convert a 7803 or 6603.

Will 38c gravelkings (non SK) be noticeable slower than 32c gravelkings (non SK)? I've just ordered a pair but not sure if i'll regret it when I go touring in August

They will go at the same speed :)
I would expect the 38s to have lower rolling resistance but higher aerodynamic drag, so the 38s will require less power to go slowly and more power to go fast. At some non-zero point, the two curves will cross, and at that speed the two tyres will require exactly the same amount of power.

To be an ultrapedant the graphs probably cross at <0.1 W also

I am having a hell of a time trying to get a tyre to seat straight - not something I've struggled with before. After about 3 hours yesterday of lubricating, inflating, deflating, pulling, pushing, swearing etc - I'm stumped. I also tried overinflating the tube to about 90psi (tyre rated max 60psi) which helped a little but I didn't have the guts to keep pumping.
There's about a 3 inch section on one side which stays tucked in to the rim. The only other solution I can think of is changing the width of the rim tape. Or burning the fucking thing.
Tyres are WTB Resolute 700x42 and the wheels Alex CDX4, for what it's worth.

I had a Conti UltraSport HomeTrainer once which had the same problem, yea even unto tthe 160psi at which I got bored with trying. Having got two other samples to seat up easily on the same rim, I put it down to an out of tolerance tyre and freecycled it to another forumenger, who either had a smaller rim or just didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth as I've heard no more about it.
Check the rated pressure of the rim with that tyre size, and have fun pumping up to double that, which any tyre/rim in new condition should pass as a static test. Wear eye and ear protection and be prepared to explain yourself to the neighbours if the opposite side lifts over the rim before the stuck side lifts onto the bead shelf :)

Get a quote from Parcel2Go, you can choose from various courrier / insurance.
If it is below 2kg, the post office tends to be quite competitive

What is the value of the chainline that Velobase uses as reference to recommend the BB length? 43.5 mm?
Basically I know my rear chainline, I have a crankset, and I want to find the correct BB length t that would allow to match the rear chainline so the idea was to see what length Velobase reccomends for their reference chainline and adjust the length to match the value of my rear chainline

Niche question of the day:-
Is there a forum-approved bicycle trailer flagpole? I was thinking of using an old car aerial but that's probably not long enough. -

in a similar vein...
I'm looking to borrow a bike trailer sometime in the next few weeks, can anyone help me out?
thanks :)

Worth mentioning if you have a mortgage, they might not like that either. I have to notify mine if I'm gone for very long at all, off the top of my head it might be as little as two weeks.
