Darren's tracker is on 5 minute updates, Hippy's' on 1 hour. Looks like the streetview chrome extension still works.

They should be going past Cannon Beach shortly - last year they had a photographer around there posting shots.

Didn't they say last year that they wouldn't do the blue/pink thing for men and women again? It hasn't been changed.

A lot of women wanted to be different so they can easily be identified, and other women can easily identify them. But he concencous was that green and yellow or such other, non binary colours would be preferable.

There hasn't been a tweet for at least two hours ffs...

Hippo's now in 13th, Darren in 3rd.

DF going pretty hard, hopefully settles into something sustainable soon (or maybe it is? He's got a power meter and presumably knows his pace)

Their speed will drop soon/eventually, but that doesn't necessarily mean they should start slower or that they'd be destroying themselves now, taking the advantage of fresh legs.

Is that accurate for hippy? It’s hard to tell with the riders still so bunched and hippy’s tracker updating so often.

Obviously, hippy's enormous landtake means that it's not really possible to show an accurate position for him, with the tracker lost somewhere in the folds of his flesh.
