  • This is what was left in the bottom of the oil jug. I’ve rebuilt the bike now and the hub seems to spin with a bit less resistance. The cranks still slowly spin when the wheel is at high RPM though. Going to take it for a quick test ride later this afternoon. This bike takes a real battering and doesn’t have to be super efficient. It weighs a tonne and has dynamo lights anyway, so a little gear resistance is the least of it.
