A nice Timefactors Speedbird III has popped up on eBay...

Edit. Actually a bit scuffed in the later pics but still nice.

I just did my experian report and discovered i'm in way more debt than I thought! oops!
I need to sell some stuff - first to go i think we be a nomos tangents gangreserve - keeping perfect time at the moment but last service was 3+ years ago and they recommend 3-5 years so I will factor in new service price for sale - anyone interested? DM me if so...

Dollar? Asking here as I have no idea of value so would like the hive mind's help.

Also, has anyone tried any of those strap convertor for g shocks?

I really love this watch but I just wouldn't wear it much as I prefer larger than 35mm.
Waiting with interest for what else you are selling.

well it's rrp £2800, They sell in shops for £2100
https://www.chronext.co.uk/nomos/tangente/131/S2278
and used ones are rare for £1600+ (rarely) I think i'd like £1150 given that the service will be £300 (but you'll get a case polish and effectively a new watch)
I'm off home at lunch so i'll see what other ones I can part with - maybe a max bill and a timefactors diving watch

Yeah, I got one from Vario for about £20, came with pins and a NATO.

Eddie is working on the successor to the Speedbird at the moment.
This was the first design draft (rejected and not going to production)

i like that

At first glance it is hideous but I think it could work with no logo and white only dial.
Its kind of fun watching his designs evolve. He posts a few mock ups, listens to the feedback, goes quiet for a few months and then boom...new watch for sale.

Minute hand tolerances yo

I thought that too.
The red would be alright if it were just the numerals.
Really don't like the date though. It's quite far in... just sitting there all alone.
Where does he usually post?

I hadn't realised that was as small as that. I'll see if I can try one (or something similarly sized). Price seems fair.

Lovely lovely 3570.50.
Which Moonwatch book do you have? My copy of Moonwatch Only should arrive tomorrow, I thought it prudent to invest in this first if I was serious about purchasing a vintage Speedy. -

Yeah not a fan of that new iteration, let’s see his next effort! I have an eBay alert for the GMT version but I think it’s rocking horse 💩

Cool. check them out - watches of switzerland have them and the lugs make the watch feel great on the wrist
-
• #27669
How big is your wrist? Could be I tested in the max instead?

I have the "Master Of Omega" book . Mainly cos I nearly bought a Flightmaster and it covers that as well.
Covers Speedmaster very well , I love it. it is a bit nerdy though. -

This looks like the one - although black would be far better.
£11.99 is far better than buying a new watch!!!
