At first glance it is hideous but I think it could work with no logo and white only dial.

Its kind of fun watching his designs evolve. He posts a few mock ups, listens to the feedback, goes quiet for a few months and then boom...new watch for sale.

I thought that too.

The red would be alright if it were just the numerals.

Really don't like the date though. It's quite far in... just sitting there all alone.

Where does he usually post?
