Interested. Let's discuss on Friday.

splinter ride
Also interested as the current dates may end up clashing with something for me.
-
• #29
^ also interested
-
• #30
^ also potentially interested as training for the real one! and for shits&gigs (assuming it's a more the merrier type affair), although depends largely on work/life commitments as always...

Get an event thread up on here. Looks like a load of people in for this and I wanted to do the ride but potentially can't make the official date either. Forum dynamo would be awesome

Yeaaaah I'm up for that!

Never done this. Would like to do there and back if I’m around.

Definitely in again this year. Going to go big and bring a sleeping bag for the beach.

Doing the official one again. Expect we’lol be a bit slower as we’re doing it with some less frequent cyclists.
You lot are nuts for doing it more than once a year -

Can anyone link me to the best GPX route from Dunwich back to Ipswich plz?!?
-
• #44
we’lol be a bit slower
Very interesting spelling. Voice dictation?
-
• #45
If I type the letters w-e-l-l, my other phone assumes “we’ll”. This phone assumes “well”.
I clicked into it to add the apostrophe, however the phone is stupid/clever enough to now consider it two distinct words “we” and “ll”, the latter of which was autocorrected to “lol” -
• #46
At least I think that’s what happened
-
• #47
Sounds plausible.

Been meaning to do this for a long time but this year I've actually committed. Now I just need to get my bicycle in order in time as my saddle is not very comfy.

This is what I did last year

Cheers for that. Actually managed to find a RWGPS route a few weeks back and rode it. First Mile coming back to Ipswich was actually down some sort of forest road so perhaps don't follow the route I took but the rest was fine.
Anyone taking part in the actual event, be aware that there's plenty of loose gravel on the road from about 9miles to go.
Cheers - will just do it.
