I've had no issues with phones which aren't Samsung.
Tbf, I've never owned a Samsung but got one for my daughter and it didn't go well. Eventually replaced with a Moto G.
I've supplied 3 Moto G and one Hauwei for my immediate clan, no issues. Now using a OnePlus which is also flawless so far.
