  • @Sharkstar I tested it John Lewis, not had I. I ended up buying Acqua di Parma Bergamout as a safer bet.
    It’s interesting though but wasn’t sure if it just smelt good/ interesting initially and would fade quickly. Vanilla tabacoo not sure what else had my little one with me so was more do I like it or not mood than breaking it down.
    At the barbers, was also quite good for that soapy fresh smell.
    Again though Acqua di Parma Essenza seemed like a safer bet.

  • I'll have to give it a go. For tobacco notes, my current favourite is Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, which works surprisingly well in combination with Tom Ford Noir (a recommendation I saw Ford himself gave in an interview).

    Current number one is still Le Labo Santal 33, which I bought for my girlfriend but find myself stealing a spritz of every other week. It's very distinctive but not, I think, in an aggressive way. Costs a fucking fortune though.
