Good for actual rides since you'll be in them for a bit, but would be annoying for commuting. Yes no pad and no stirrups (good), but no zip either (bad imo) so it's a sit-down-and-winch-on type of situation. Also not as warm as the comparable entry level DHB tights I don't think, tho DHB tights have a pad
