Has anyone got these or had experience? Have they gone out of stock due to issues do we know?

They have sold out. Canyon are waiting for more stock.

Are you looking to buy?

yep

Any idea when they are due back in stock? I’ve not read any reviews of them and seem limited in terms of positions achievable?
Also what bike do you have and what’s the intended use? -
• #2032
They should be back in stock in the next 4 to 6 weeks apparently. Ive not read any reviews either but I'm only planning on using them for longer audaxes where I prefer to have some extra positions.

Ah ok. Same here. Debating if it’s better to ditch the aero bar for such things to give more options

Pretty much stock issue apart from the wheels. First long ride today and the set up felt good

Does anyone know if you can replace an acros headset in a 2017 ultimate cf sl with a standard one? Cheers
-
• #2036
Sure Canyon will tell you fer sure but I can't imagine it would be a problem.
-
• #2037
I'd quite like to do the same at some point - very interested to know which headsets/bearings would be compatible.. I'd imagine the limiting factor will (likely) be very particular and possibly non-standard chamfer angles on the bearing races, with canyon maintaining their semi-proprietary speccing of parts (a la 1 1/2 inch steerer etc).
Pretty sure the parts are out there, but would love to know which!

Still no sign of them coming back..!?
Any idea if you can get adjustable or different sized spacers underneath -

What are my options fork wise for a new fork for my canyon ultimate, flat mount but with a hole for a dynamo? Does such thing exist?
-
• #2040
no and dont, electric tape, another bike for dynamo usage.
-
• #2041
I'd still want disc brakes though so only delays the issue....
-
• #2042
Putting dynamo on canyon isnt a bad idea, replacing the fork is .. there are tiny (maybe 1) number of forks out there with dynamo routing through fork and flat mount etc. let alone a 1 1/4th one.
Use electric tape/inner tube.

Hmmpff
-
• #2044
yea this doesn't exist. and don't fucking drill it!
-
• #2045
I use electrical tape on my Parlee fork and if you do it properly, you literally can't see it, or the wire. Is easy and costs nothing.
-
• #2046
I wont be drilling it but this made me think something might be out there, more for mounting the light.

sort a go pro mount and you can mount a light on it
-
• #2048
Yeah probably the simplest solution

Use battery lights.

The threads have stripped on the seatpost clamp on my Ultimate AL SLX. There's 2 types on Canyon's website - but can't find out whether it's the 30 or 30.2mm diameter one I need. Any ideas?
Or - are there any non-Canyon seatpost clamps that would work? The Canyon one is pricey - £30 inc postage.
The bikes about 4 years old so out of warranty.
Yes long arms and torso, should have been a swimmer. To be honest I think both the medium and large would work. I'd need a longer stem on the medium but it would be a bit more aggressive than the large.
I've got a few bikes to compare it to. The medium is similar geo to my Van Nicholas Boreas 56cm and the large similar to the custom Waltly I have. I'll give Canyon a ring and see what advice they can offer!
What frame size is yours?
