So the original arrangement was he post to me, as I couldn’t collect off him. Straight after I paid the price plus post for delivery he said he travels to London / soho so could actually bring it in and drop it to me. Which he didn’t in the end. As I had to go and collect off a third party.
Just irks me a bit.. I know it’s fairly petty. Just feels off as well because if it was me I wouldn’t consider charging full p&p if I was meeting someone to collect. he was in the area anyway so not like he had to buy a train ticket down! Ebay also said the ‘right’ thing to do would be that he refund a portion of the p&p. They actually offered to email him for me but I refused, cos of feeling petty etc.
I think it all hinges on whether collecting from the daughter was decided for you, with no alternative, or whether it was something that was floated and you agreed to. Former, ask eBay to step in, later, wouldn't worry about it, as annoying as it is.
