If a couple goes out an one party starts spouting offensive fundamentalist views or behaving inappropriately even without tacit public agreement people will presume the other partner shares those standards or tolerates them, no? I don't think that's exceptionally unfair or redolent of sexism.

    Also should be pointed out that at the time in question Cound was his supposed PR manager and publicist...

    I really hope that this isn't the case. I certainly don't align my views with that of my partner.

    Tolerates, maybe. But toleration doesn't make you guilty by association.
