It seems from this thread that everyone seems to use Bagman supports instead of SQR systems, is there a reason for this (IE Bagman good, SQR shit)?
Nah, both are good (& a shout-out to the classic rack!); SQR needs more seatpost showing than the Bagman & doesn't support the bag from underneath, but doesn't put any stress on the saddle rails, so it's swings and roundabouts really.
