Yep - the height has been the stumbling block on every discussion I've had so far.
Presumably the metal doesn't need to be some kind of folded sheet with a base panel though?
I wonder in that case what's stopping me getting somewhere like this to cut 6 panels to size and piecing them together? https://www.lasermaster.co.uk/
They might even do complex bits like the air vents on the sides.
Ugh. I blame Blackmagic and their ridiculously sized units.

I used to work somewhere that imported/distributed PDUs and a lot of them are basically just aluminium extrusion with modules/spacers that slide in and busbars/cables connecting the modules behind. If you’ve got access to a mitre saw it’s dead easy to dissemble and trim one to length. The height is more tricky...
