Doesn't need to look fancy at all - just needs to fit (going inside a rack shelf so it'll never be seen for the most part. But yes, appreciate it'll be costly - I just don't like the idea of buying something new just to rip it apart.

What size is that? 2/3rds 19" rack? Is anything more complicated than distribution sockets/wiring going inside it? If it's just a straight forward PDU, I'd talk to someone like Penn Elcom and see if they'll cut down one of their modular full length units.

I'd be surprised if anybody could replicate that case as a one-off for less than the cost of buying a new W-APS-08, assuming you want it to look somewhat nice. On closer inspection, I'd say the GrabCAD files are more like 5% of the way to something you could send out for manufacture.
