Probably a quick question to answer, but I’m guessing you can’t put a front rack on an arkose?

Cheers, after some googling I now have high hopes for it to be repairable. Have sent messages to three Ti welders and will see what they say. If €100 buys me two more years of use you won't hear me complaining. But the next one is going to be steel again.

What mudguards do people recommend for this gravel malarky? Running GK 650b 1.75" on a Genesis Croix de Fer

Where'd you get 'em? £70 on a pair of tyres that (by all accounts) aren't especially durable is a bitter pill

A friend of mine has 700c Cazaderos and really likes them fwiw. On a recent ride he was keeping up fine on the paved approach and much faster than me on the twisty gravel descent thanks to that big side tread.

I've also got Cazaderos. Not the most comfortable, but fast on-road, and decent off-road.
