I passed an overturned car at about 2 Miles and guessed the event would be called off. By the time I got back there at 9 Miles they had stopped the race. Driver was pissed and had lost control.

Apparently the Houndslow & District 100 was abandoned today when a drink driver flipped his car and almost hit a rider.
I don't mind that. I'm not in favour of dog racing, even if they're taking it easy. But what about clubman's event?

I'd already DNS'd on account of having to look after sick baby.
Was a bit miffed on our 5 am walk when I saw it was a beautiful morning with thunder storm having passed earlier than forecast, but when I heard the news was pleased I hadn't bothered to trek down.
Apparently he was drunk and driving whilst DQ d at 100 mph and tried to overtake someone else on the inside, hit a kerb and flipped.
