On twitter.

2/2 #froomey

(Poor Google) translation:
"Froome who makes a picture of "shadow worker" since the beginning of winter on Strava ... For more transparency, put on line your "Giro pomeridiano""
"Attention I do not judge the performance, just a relentless logic to be transparent on his data when we are in turmoil and everyone doubts its performance! 2/2"

I think Shane Stokes has made it his mission to like every single tweet that suggests or directly states Froome was doping.

He’s a bell end.

Just seen that Yates is now 18th, above the distinguished figure of... Carlos Betancur in 19th. Fate is cruel, some days you're potting pinks, other days you have to face up to the fact you've gone and potted the brown by mistake...

ah, looked 'incredulous' in isolation...

And I thought things were a little weird when Yates was handing everyone their asses

Ryan Mullen weighs 79kg and Froome weighs around 65kg so it’s not that surprising that he put 45 mins into him. I’m not sure if he meant it as a dig, but if anything it proves that what Froome did is not as insane as it may appear.
As a result of his crash and lack of form he has hardly spent any time in the wind this whole giro and has not had to change his tempo to chase down rivals.
-
• #17871
I can’t imagine being ‘only’ 3 mins down on GC really is much of an effort saver.
-
• #17872
No, but I think that due to his position, he has not been so stressed about chasing down attacks and has just rode every climb at his pace. Overall it may have been less physiologically damaging on his body than the likes of Yates attacking whenever he had a chance.

Froome’s power data would be super interesting. The velon data that was shown infrequently had him at 350w every time it popped up in the last 80km.
If he was going at 350w, with 14kg lighter weight and much faster descending, then 45 minutes ahead of Mullen sounds about right.
Isn’t 350w basically sweet spot watts for Froome?

His sensor is broken somehow, it never changed from 350w & 89 rpm despite his speed surging
