Orica chased a group containing domestiques from most of Yates' rival teams, Sky put the hammer down on the Finestre, dropped Yates, then Froome attacked and has ridden away from the rest.

Yates dropped early on Finestre. Froome attacked at the start of the gravelled section and built a lead from there.

Michelton Scott burned domestiques chasing a strong breakaway containing 2 sky and 1 Sunweb.
Breakaway caught, then Sky did their Sky Train thing with Froome + 4.
Chaos ensues, Yates cracks.Froome attacks after ridiculous pace by Elissonde, and no one can follow.
