    I don't BBQ frequently enough to warrant a big thing taking up space in my garden.

    So, I built a fold up / down shelf that is clad in sticky back stone tiles. I then put a disposable BBQ on that stand on top of it and hey presto.

    The stand is necessary as the stone tiles are not heat proof enough to take the disposable directly on top. As I discovered when it caught fire.

    When the whole thing is folded down, it blends in with the wall for a seamless look.

    The shelf is on some click lock hinges that work really well. Apparently they will support 40kg. Which is a lot of sausages.
