You know I love that frame! What makes me love the setup is the stem. Makes her more aggressive

There's an AX on ebay but sadly a tad too large for me. (58 cm)

On ebay, now, there are just 2 or 3 significant bikes!!!
One of the three is that one (from user VELOSOS - UK): https://www.ebay.it/itm/FRANCESCO-MOSER-F-MOSER-Record-51-151-Vintage-Road-Bike-Pantographed/282855113598?hash=item41db7a837e:g:arwAAOSwnlFafEMA
I'm quite sure that one is the bike from Stefano Giuliani from TEAM GIS - TRENTINO VACANZE (1985).@WimVDD, that AX hasn't his original fork and it's not so easy find it.

@Lesente unusual frame.
Seller states that it is gold plated but I would say that it is chromovelato ?

Dan, I think that this frame is very strange.
It's a Profil frame (model from 1983) in Columbus AIR but...- the fork must be chromed
- columbus sticker it's not original
- the F. Moser transfer must be white
There is a difference between the Oro Model (that is gold plated) and the Super Elaborata Leggera model (that is chromovelato). I think, this one, is an "artigianal" painting (it's difficult say if it is a chromovelato or a gold plated, I think the second) (not made by F. Moser factory).
This is the bike: http://landlordscycling.com/2012/05/8866/
I'm restoring now the same model in blue chromovelato and, as u can see, it's different:

Leader SC from end of eighties.
Not original colour (probably pink or red scheme), not original fork!
This model was not the first model but second. In 1985 was instead first model. -

thank you for the info, i already look around about moser leader sc and notice the stamp on the BB shell differ from the moser leader sc stated on bike porn and steel vintage bikes. where could i find more info about this frame ? i would like to know the original appearance.

There are four generations of Leader SC. Yours is from the second. On SVB, the pink one, is from the third generation.
Try to take a look here: mosercollection.jimdo.com in the "curiosità" section. -

thank you, based on the catalogue there were no color scheme as mine,
which one better, the leader ax or the leader sc ?
all moser were italian thread ?
i see that the seatpost kind of unique, were it should be some kind special seatpost ? -
• #293
- The is no colour scheme because it has been repainted in the 90's. Better what? Model or colour scheme (AX vs SC)?
- yes, all moser models has italian thread
- seatpost is particular because has an internal expander

Which one better model AX vs SC ?
How much moser bike did you possed ? Seems like hundreds -
• #295
Sorry for late reply. SC and AX are both top and innovative frames! The SC is the top frame for the 85-89 period, the AX for the 90-00 period. They were both first frames without lugs.
How much moser bike did you possed ? MANY but not enough ;-)

^ really nice in that blue with shamals.
Picked this up recently, still getting the fit right. Moser pro evolution in deda zero uno with veloce groupset. Next step is probably a set of soma highway one compact bars as the frame is a touch too big for me.

I am in love with the way you've set up the first one, the Leader AX. Wonderful.
