I don't mint if its busy and I'm all for getting more people on bikes. I just think that as the sun comes out the standard of cycling drops and it shouldn't. A bit of rain and I find that the people that cause these issues go back to the tube and its a much nicer ride in.

If enough people start cycling we might get cycle lanes that are wide enough for overtaking.

My commute doesn't have cycle lanes and I'm very thankful for that.

In Ealing there's an awesome new cycle lane that drops into the normal road at the junction which means you get double bubble go at crossing - either on car green or on the ped/bike green. It's fucking brilliant!

At the other end though near Hyde Park I got beeped because I used the "car" lane because the lights are phased shit for bikes and I'd rather take a green 'car' light than wait for a bike lane green for a lane that I don't even use. Of course I'm beeped from behind even though I'm up the arse of the car in front, fucking moron driver. I slowed right down to let him know this fact. We'd both have got our journeys done quicker if he'd shut the fuck up and/or the bike lane lights were better.
