Very rare and beautiful Dutch build Koga Miyata Pro racing bike for sale. Bought it from the first owner who was a professional Ice skater and who also participated in the " 11 steden tocht" ( google it ;). Beautiful lugged steel frameset, made out of Tange FM 1 tubing, with lots of panto's and neat details like the Koga panto in the brake bridge, etc..
Paintjob is perhaps one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, exactly the same as the Full Pro frameset that I've sold here some time ago . This was one of the best and the most expensive bikes in the Koga Miyata hierarchy in 1991, together with the Full Pro. Which is exactly the same bike / frame except that the Full Pro had a revolutionary (at that time) alloy fork and chromed rearstays.
It has been used and has some small paint scuffs and touchups. Overall condition is very good and the frame has no structural damage like cracks or dents. I have replaced some of the cables, the chain and the handlebar tape. The bike is equipped with a complete Dura-Ace 7400 (7/8sp) groupset, which is still in a very good condition. The rims have almost no wear.. Beautiful bike for a fair price in my opinion..
