Space is the only reason not to. If it is inside on the chainstay then it doesnt need bracing in most cases.
Cool, thanks. Is there an easy way to determine whether a disk caliper/rotor would fit without the parts to hand?
get specs off shimano and draw out on paper. need to do a lot of measuring but not impossible.
