• Yes, recently. Our dog was incredibly eager to come and investigate. We wanted to make sure that he was extra respectful of the baby's space so wouldn't let him too close - led to a bit of whining and frustration. A couple of timeouts where we shut him in the spare bedroom helped a lot. After a couple of days, everything calmed down. A couple of months later, they're best of chums. Basically you want to imprint that the baby > dog in your pack...once that's settled, all should be good.

  • He's been fine. Was awful timing as a bitch in heat was a few doors down. Drove him round the bend for about a week, he was off his food, wouldnt concentrate, was acting up, attention seeking, all at same time as trying to introduce the baby. Anyway he really is the nicest dog - except to postie and anyone in hi-viz - and things have been great.
