It's a bit of a mixed bag. Day 1 is about 5 miles longer than day 2. Day 2 also has less sketchy stuff, but watch out on the final descent from Old Harry into Swanage, past the cows on the chalky descent down the grassy hill: That's where one of my companions for the final leg two years ago washed out on a 35mm CX tyre and broke his femur. Waiting for the ambulance and the Army evac guy is how I got DFL and won a Straggler frameset.
Excited about this now, even if the weather does look sketchy. Gonna have to drag myself out of bed by not long after 5 to make the 8:45 kick off.
Slightly concerned at how difficult two 50 mile off road days will be, having found it pretty hard covering 50 miles over two half days off road in the Gower last weekend. Hoping the surfaces will be a bit tamer in Dorset though.
