I'm sure there are some hyper-productive people in here who can get a 30-km run in before 10 AM. For me it takes a lot of faffing, preparation, and procrastination before I get around to it.
Not really hyper-productive, but I just plan the route well in advance (it's not tricky when it's mainly just "down to the river, run along it until half way, turn around and run home", lay out the stuff the night before and then minimise the faffing in the morning. Even the longest long runs means I'm back home and showered by midday.
But, if parkruns are pushing it for time then marathon training is going to be hard to fit in.
(My wife used to joke about Audax taking up too much time and suggested I do something that didn't take up as much time, like training for a marathon. I'm still aware of how much family time it did cut out though.)
