Buy item, pay + postage. Guy says hey whereabouts in London are you, i’ll drop it off. We arrange and he says he’ll be in meetings, but will drop it off with his daughter, I can get it whenever I want from her. It’s v close to my work
Should I ask him to refund me some / all of the postage fee (£25) feels like I should seeing as he’s not posting it or really going out of his way, other than bringing the item into town with him. I haven’t brought it up yet, so wondering how strong a stance I should take..?
He should be refunding you 100% of the delivery cost, no other outcome is reasonable in my opinion (and he should have offered to do it himself). If you choose to give him something for his time even though he failed to actually deliver it that's your call.
