Looks good! Need to go and find some pitted dates then clearly as that's two recipes that have them now. What's the last thing on the second to last step, JA...?

I also make date/nut ball things.
But when I’m doing a long ride I like to make them small and mix them up in a big bag with some other stuff like popcorn, salted nuts, chunks of dark chocolate, dried fruit and coconut. Then you get random mixes of stuff when you grab a handful.

Popcorn, good one. Savoury stuff that keeps well, isn't extremely dry and isn't extremely bulky is especially hard to find. Popcorn is a good shout (though it is admittedly still a bit bulky and dry. But more appealing than crisps, crackers, a load of oatcakes and whatnot)
