A road was no longer to be used and he had a tanty and packed it in.
I respect the fact that people go out and try these records I respect them more if they fail with dignity or keep going.
From reading an article comparing the two guys going for this record there outlook on it was very, very different. To was all about 410 watt FTP's milk and sausages and the other guy just seemed to want to go out and ride it.

Seems like a lot of excuses. Be better to say it wasn't going to happen on the day and called it off and will be back again to try it. It's not the first time that people haven't succeeded at what they try. I do find it funny they never mention TCR 2017 when talking about previous riding.
