I do have £400 actually, but I’ve got other things I’d rather spend it on.

german ebay is full of uncut supersix forks (cannondale gabel is the keyword)

make sure it is 1.5 tho, as there were some models with a 1.1/8" to 1.1/4" forks

Really looking forward to seeing this come together. I love a climbing bike. Definitely my next build. I've got an Argon 18 Gallium frame, Cannondale Supersix fork and some very light Chinese carbon tubular wheels lined up, but funds are low for the rest of the components required... Watch this space.

Yep, one layer of clear coat.

That’ll be a banger. What does the frame weigh? If it’s 1 1/8” straight, or of Easton do tapered, their EC90 SLX fork is silly light.

They're pretty close in Crr I imagine? Records might even be lighter anyway.

Grr I’d like to know the average height of Cyclist seems lower than the general population.

On a more serious note, are there only two varieties of supersix, lo-mod& hi-mod or further sub categories?
Are there any years to look out for ie after 2014 they cane with a full carbon fork etc.

Full carbon frame wouldn't have come with an alloy steerer fork.
The Scotts are very light, CR1 and Addict, Some of the Giant TCRs are light. Set on a supersix?

Not at all set on a Supersix.
In fact they seem to carry a premium but there are a fair few around. I need an XL most likely.
Also matter of not knowing models to look out for combined with being sold frame only...
