Such a rad build and if I had a spare 680 I'd snatch it up immediately, it's nice to see an ESB built up as it should be in full fgfs mode again. However if you do end up splitting I'll take the cranks bars and stem for my 26"

I'd probably nab the wheelset an all!

I was all ready to push the button on a cinelli works this weekend (having missed out on a Gangsta when I was in NYC last week) but this has put me in two minds.
The only thing I'm not sure about is my need of a front brake and also a bottle mount for my real world use, i'm not a massive fan of the idea of using clip on bottle mounts.
A 56 top tube is perfect, do you have any idea what the axle to crown / rake is on the fork. I'm wondering if I could get away with putting a ritchey cx fork on the front as a stop gap before I can sort out something more appropriate.

• #10
I wouldn't let you get away with doing that.
-
• #11
Yeah, your probably right, I'm trying to make it something it's not aren't I.
Better to let somebody have it and use it as intended.

Last bump before it hits the bay

This is too good for the bay!
-
• #14
Hmm, maybe a split then..
-
• #15
I mean, I'm not in for it, but it's too good for t'bay.
-
• #16
Any takers? Will split if necessary.

Funnily enough I sold it, but actually just re-bought it. It's changed a bit since this listing and has lost the Phil hubs, but gained a better cockpit and seat seat up plus some better cranks and ring. I'll shoot a photo and update this week. Feel free to come check it out though N16 8AA.

How tall are you ? Think I’d need a longer stem front to be rideable maybe

I'm 5'11 and it's a good riding position for me. The guy that set it up like this is 6'2.
This was a brief project last year after picking up the frame and having it refinished.
I'm not sure if it's medium or large, but I'm 5'11 and it's good for me with the saddle up. I've attached some photos of the bike as it is right now.

The frame was powder coated a while back at Armourtex at a cost of £130 for the premium and slightly sparkly deep red. It had the head badge polished before the lacquer was applied.
The rest of the bike was built with Phil hubs on H+Son Toedstrieb rims, profile Bmx cranks, S&M riser bars, Oddyssee stem and Panaracer pasela 32c tyres. The seatpost and pedals are not included.
I spent around £900 all in and the bikes been ridden a few times around the car park in front of my shop and then dry stored for the past year.
Price drop: SOLD
Can be seen pretty much any time in Hackney.
