I've done the Tre Croci in the rain, was pretty grim.

Rumour has it that all three of the final climbs are much harder than the 'Garibaldi' suggests - they'd be classified as Category 1 in the Tour for example.

Could be interesting, especially if some teams haven't recce'd them.

I reckon today’s a good one for Bananito, the climbs are hard but not too long. He seemed to be saving himself a bit yesterday just following Aru’s wheel. I can only offer thoughts & prayers for now.

Dumoulin might lose some precious time thanks to the strange tactics burning up Oomen on the climb before the penultimate. And done his own head in on the rest day...

Why are they all following Thibaut "careful now" Pinot down? Yates has gained about 5 seconds on this descent so far.

Chasing group falling apart, expecting (probably with reason) Dumoulin to do a lot of the work, and he's getting salty.

Exactly, that's what they'll be saying to him.

He should be putting the hammer down whether they are behind him or not. Yates has put on 25 seconds since the descent just because of all of their fannying about - if Dumoulin had put his head down and time trialled it he might have caught him.
