How did you teach him/her not to jump out? Assuming it's yours

Some dogs are just G O O D B O Y E S or G I R L E S for that matter.

Hes pretty young and has been a quick learner. We started off away from cars at a park and kept at it. We just use a lot of positive reinforcement and make sure he's burned off energy so he's keen to get a free ride. All trips end with some kind of reward for his good behavior.

Rear derailleur doesn't look happy!

What better than basketlyfe? Coffee, bread, pastries, random plumbing bits, jacket, lock and sausages all riding home without getting smashed, and no kid on the back so I could actually enjoy the Marple hills and canal path

I should buy a trailer.
I haven't been able to get out on the bike as much since my whippet arrived, and I've love to be able to take him along too. He is a rascal not a goodboy though, I can imagine training him not to leap out being a headache. Any more inspiration pics?

If it's less than 11kg,
you could use a front rack and a basket,
my dog seem to reach some kind of peaceful state once in for the ride.
I wouldn't go above that weight on my present bike.
There's a pic upthread. -

We fashioned a bed for him so it'd more comfortable and more protected feeling.

Haha, One day. I feel like I should get a ride with suspension before he does. His name happens to be Bob,my non bike friend thought I made the flag special for him. 😊

Technically you did, with the tyres, the ride position, the flat bar, the saddle...
I would suggest fitting a bigger tyres on the back, and reduce the pressure a lots more, like 10psi if it's just the dog.

(apart from the blue stem which upsets me more than it should)

That had a tragic story attached no? The owner fell ill shortly after getting and had to sell I think?

Cranks, mismatched light, strange bar tape can go as well

Indeed. Camille McMillan no less.

What’s the story? Didn’t hear about that. Has he recovered?
-

Think it was something degenerative and nasty, he had to sell the bike.
Really sad. -

Win, win, win from where I’m sitting.
Pretty much my dream bike.
The only things I’d change would be massive cassette and shimano brake (had those hopes on my mtb previously and they were meh)
Is he recovered?
