Eurgh, what a load of shit. RIP.

That's a bit I tended to avoid when I lived near there - there used to be a ghost bike for another rider under it. RIP rider.

Looking at the pictures this is the (exact) same spot as the previous death on this junction.
Shitty news. -

So sad, my thoughts with all who loved him.
Nine years since Adrianna was killed on the same roundabout

That thread makes reference to another previous cyclist’s death on that roundabout, so this is the third. I’ve crossed it a few times recently while running, it’s terribly designed for pedestrians as well.
That thread also notes that Adrianna’s hit and run killer was found and it never even got to court.

I used to have a shop just by that roundabout and remember clearly the chilling atmosphere and sadness on the day that Adrianna died there. So sad to hear it has happened again to another person.

RIP rider :(

That crash was one of the most horrible I can remember. I don't want to re-iterate the details, though. Anyone interested can look it up.

RIP. Terrible news.
I hate that junction even in car. There is lots of concern locally about the IKEA opening nearby soon. I will not let this additional terrible death go without action. -

Woke up to find this..
Think this is my friend.. met over a shared love of fixed cycling and we had been on many forum rides together.
Hoping it’s not him .. -
• #24
unfortunately this was my friend.. he was a competent, respectful and experienced cyclist. If this can happen to him, it can happen to any one of us. I'm not sure what his forum name was but we went on many of the east/west and bridges rides together. He did the John o Groats on his own fixed a few years back..well, i say on his own but he somehow convinced his wife to hire a camper van and follow him the whole way down.
I remember him eyeing up my bike in the office car park and then bumping into him a few years later and he had the same bike.. i took the piss out of him about following my steeze.
I will miss him massively. -

About as bad a junction as one can imagine, under one of London's (thankfully few) urban motorways.
