Thanks pals.
Anyone know the retail price of Bombtracks EXT fork? Or know any similar easily available forks with carbon steerer and flat mount?

Paintjob is legit, excited to see this progress!

Thanks for the fork tip. I think i'll go with the Bombtrack ext fork with all the mounts for versatility.
Frame was scheduled to be delivered to me today. The warehouse where they sort the packages is a few km from my house. But now it appears to have been trucked off to another city for some reason. Utterly useless postal service. So no frame this weekend i guess.
Anyone know a EU store with the tubeless compatible Gravelking 38/40mm in stock?

I would go for a Niner fork:

I recently spoke to Bombtrack about the EXT fork, not much stock out there but one of their suppliers quoted me 350 euros plus shipping for the Audax fork which is exactly the same as the EXT but with a different paintjob

Yeah i got in touch with them too. We'll see.
Frame finally arrived today.

So good ! Is it flat mount rear and post mount front ? How are you gonna build it, group-wise speaking ?

Love it. Paint job looks like it's half submerged or something, very cool!

This is a fork i had from earlier projects and will only be used for touring duties this summer. I'll be using TRP spyre brakes, and i have both flat mount and post mount versions. So they'll match anyways. The carbon fork will be flat mount too.

First time having to buy a through axle separately. Seems to be a jungle of standards and widths. The frame is 12x142mm T-A
The hanger is one of these:
You reckon any of these will work?

You need to know 3 dimensions to know if they'll work: diameter, that's easy, 12mm. thread pitch, this will either be 1, 1.5 or 1.75. from the picture I think safe to assume 1.75 but if you can find a way to double check probs best. Lastly length, and this is a tricky one because all axle sellers love to quote the hub width but that's no use to you, because the axle length is the hub width plus the thickness of the dropouts on each end of the hub. You need to know the total distance from the outside of one dropout to the outside of the other, this is the total axle length you need. I went through this same trial last month and in the end went with Robert Axle Project lightning bolt ons because although they're pricey they have full specs on the website so you know they'll fit. SJS Cycles stock a lot of sizes.

Oh and usually it's worth checking the thread length is at least as long as the threaded section on your dropout. Robert Axle Project are all 16mm threaded.

^ what they said. And nth'ing that is a beaut frame, especially for the price. I don't say that as a backhanded complement, it's just the kicker. Very classy.

Thanks. Will have to measure the width then. Stupid mistake by me not ordering a fitting axle right away when ordering the frame. Only part missing before i can start building.
And surely 12 x 1 must mean the thread pitch will be 1? The 34 is the length/drop of the mech hanger.
Validation from you guys is the most important <3 lol.
I'm sure i'll grow to like it. It's just a bit different.
