South Downs way, end-to-end, TBC

I have still lost my Garmin I'm afraid, so I'll not be much use from a routing perspective.

Also, trying to transfer that RwGPS route to Strava fails, and I cannot for the life of me work out how to download a GPX from the Garmin site.

Today was a lot of fun, thanks everyone.
I think the Klein performed very well- however, I feel surprisingly guilty about having done so.

What would be the best, reasonably priced modern bike for the type of terrain we rode today?

That I could pick up second hand for a song, preferably.

Yup! Great place to camp

Used mtb stuff can be a bit of a nightmare.

The problem with the perfect bike for the terrain we rode today is that it wouldn’t be much fun anywhere else and it would be expensive. Like the Epic.

The Scalpel SE would be a good shout though and a capable bike elsewhere. 29er, 120mm travel, no proprietary nonsense.
