• Hi All, so years ago when I lived in Germany I bought this bike as a runabout. At the time it was a terrible blend of components but did the job, although having switched out lots of parts I grew quite fond of it so brought it back with me.

Since then I’ve been using it for short trips to the shops, and as you can see with a rack and panniers fitted you can lug home a fair bit on it. Anyway, this black beauty is out on loan to a fellow forumenger currently, but when it’s back it’ll be for sale as I don’t use it enough to warrant keeping it.

Overall the bike's in decent condition, everything’s running ok, the tyres are near new, I recently replaced the grips and the front wheel is new as the original got pinched. The frame is steel with rear suspension, no dents etc but a bit of surface rust, there’s a v-brake up front, and a drum brake on the rear (which has never worked properly). I’ve switched out the crappy grip shifter for a Shimano trigger shifter and replaced the rear mech, swapped out the bars for some flat ones and fitted a rear pannier rack.

I think this folder would be ideal for anyone who wants a cheap runabout for short journies. The bike’s in London E14 and I’m asking £80 £75 £70 £65 £60 £58 £56 £54 o.n.o for it and can throw in some accessories (not the luggage), please shoot me a PM if interested, thanks.... SOLD.
